China: a ghost town built next to a nuclear power plant

The ghost towns are among the most fascinating stories Chinese that giant country, being seen, in other parts of the globe, with incredulity and astonishment. One of the newest cities built from scratch, in Huizhou, Southeast China, has as a neighbor one of many nuclear power plants in the country. The result? A new town â€" and even more deserted.

According to the international press, the venture has 22.5 square miles but ... no one wants to live there. For obvious reasons, by the way.

Called Dayawan, the venture is an hour from the largest city, Shenzhen. This is, in fact, the other argument that is moving away from the possible interested parties.

"Never buy a House there. Get quite scared at night, "explained Wen Lin. According to reports from journalists, only two of 2,328 apartments have lights on at night.
