Public transport, according to those, are an important source of contamination and transmission of diseases, such as tuberculosis.

In response to this problem, the American company gravitytank innovation consulting designed a line of clothing called Straphanger, which aims to reduce the spread of bacteria in public transport.

Second minus one Car, the initiative is part of a broader project to realize citizens for the transmission of diseases in public transport-Project that resulted from Transfer case study developed by gravitytank.

"Fundamentally, what transmits diseases is the touch", revealed Amy Seng, a strategist on gravitytank. "People touch the walls, in the seats â€" or splashes on the surfaces. These are only garments that have a design adapted to minimize the touch. "

The clothing line part a cuff anti-microbial that offers a "place" safe for the passengers you sneeze and removes easily â€" allowing for frequent washings, a facial mask with anti-microbial lining that filters the air, a jacket with a high collar lined with fleece anti-microbial and gloves that slide inside the pole sleeves.

The complete line of antibacterial clothes is still a pocket on his wrist to put the pass which allows contactless validation and a backpack designed for overcrowded spaces.

In addition to this outfit, the Transfer Project also proposes a series of infrastructure and ideas to curb the spread of bacteria in transport, such as subway or bus stops put that allow people to travel safely and comfortably, without having to touch the surfaces, and disinfect the rings of support. Other suggestions pass put metro stations compartments so that passengers can disinfect their hands.
