Marriage is, by habit, a family celebration. But for this couple, who decided to tie the knot at the top of a cliff in Yosemite National Park, California, risking his life to get there.

To get to the rock, the couple made the so-called "Tyrolean crossing", a move only within the reach of the most experienced climbers and who gave this couple the title of "most extreme wedding" in the world â€" getting married under water may seem extreme, but if you look at the photos below will realize that these 900 meters don't joke.

In fact, this marriage in full nature has a more informal side: there are no guests, so there is no great reason to get excited.

The photographs were linkage of Horton, who followed the couple throughout the course. "I was in a bit of a hurry in taking the photos. Despite shooting in height for some time, the thrill of being on a rope, the 900 meters of altitude, never goes away, "said Horton.

The photos will also be used for a book on Weddings in extreme places. Does anyone dare to do it?

Moscow Metro offers ticket in Exchange for 30 squats

Who uses the Moscow metro can now combine exercise, economic savings and sustainable mobility. To promote the next Olympic Winter Games, which will take place in Sochi, metro stations now have exercise machines that allow a passenger to enter without pay in Exchange for 30 squats.

The machines work like any interactive video game, realizing easily when passengers are doing physical exercise â€" in this case, squats, and unrolling a countdown of 30 to 1.

When the passenger exits the squats, is rewarded with a ticket.

The video of the organisation of the Olympic Winter Games let you understand that everyone can participate in this game â€" from the newest to the oldest. And until there are queues to do the squats.

Our research, however, failed to notice if there are enough machines for all seasons, or if this video is merely a promotional move. That is, it is an excellent idea for "plagiarizing" other cities and metropolitan systems.

The planet's rarest mammal rediscovered in Vietnam

One of the rarest and most threatened mammals on the planet, the veal Saolo â€" also known as boi-de-vu-Quang â€" was seen in Vietnam for the first time in 15 years, according to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

The saola was "caught" in a surveillance camera in September, in a forest in Central Vietnam, renewing hope in the recovery of a species that is considered very close to extinction.

"It's a fantastic discovery and renews the hope to recover the species" explained to the Guardian Ngoc Van Thinh, director of WWF in that country. The Vietnamese call the saola "polite animal", because it moves silently in the forest.

The animal was first discovered, in remote mountains between Vietnam and Laos, in 1992, when a team from WWF and Vietnamese forestry agency found a skull with horns unusual at the home of a hunter. This was, incidentally, the largest discovery of a new mammal in 50 years.

In Vietnam, the saola was last seen in 1998. The WWF has recruited Rangers in local communities to ward off poachers and snares placed for reaching other animals, such as deer, but eventually hunt saola.

More than 20 years after the discovery of the first saola, very little is known about the species. And there's no record of how many individuals exist â€" maybe a few dozens or, perhaps, a hundred, according to the WWF. All in the dense forests of Vietnam.

Mother Hippo elephant can stand up to defend Cubs

Photographer Rian Van Schalkwyk was in the right place at the right time when an elephant has progressed rapidly to a piece of grass, an oasis in the reserve of Windhoek, Namibia. As a first step, the animal lived "happily" with 20 hippos who shared the meal until they were upset.

"I was taking pictures of hippos in the water. Some employees came to put grass for the animals, due to the lack of food because of the dry season.  Immediately, about 20 hippos out of the water and came to the herb, as well as a male elephant, "explained the photographer.

During some time, elephant and hippopotamus lived "happily", until the first became "agitated" and aggressive, as hippos arrived closer.

When the mother Hippo realized that her babies were in danger, put in front of the elephant and was facing â€" literally â€" by the huge animal. Gave a back on itself and fell on his feet, according to Van Schalkwyk.

The Hippo females can weigh 1.5 tons, but they seem pretty mild for the strength of an elephant. Still, the mission was accomplished: the Cubs escaped into the water and MOM, after all, was unharmed in the assault.

For Van Schalkwyk, who works in Rundu, a small town in northern Namibia-near the border with Angola â€" was an unforgettable day. "After the incident, the elephant was in place and shook his head. The hippo's back to water. It was amazing, all very fast. The elephants are very fast in short distances, but I felt sorry for the mother Hippo. It was very emotional to see her defend the Cubs, be faced with a much larger animal, "concluded the photographer.

In total, were reused in the works about 100 cubic meters of organic material, thousand cubic meters of waste from demolition and construction that were removed from buildings that were previously in place and 14 cubic meters of recycled rubber, referred to a statement from Valorsul and CMA.

Besides the material reused that was used, 21 garden benches were installed, "resulting in its entirety from recycled material". The entities indicate that cutting the grass â€" about two cubic meters in each operation-resulting from the maintenance of the Park, will be "always" delivered at the Ecocentre and subsequently forwarded to the treatment plant and Organic.

Given the amount of recycled and reused materials used in construction of space, the Park underwent a candidacy in the context of the European week for waste prevention, to be held between 16 and 24 November.

Onsite, visitors will be able to find several characters from Turma da Monica-like Smudge, the Chives, Magali, Bidu and Monica itself, among others. The characters were built on a scale increased and are "strategically positioned" in various locations, that "allow and encourage direct and interactive contact with the children," said the statement.
